MLK Camp - Speed of Play

The main focus of this 1 day camp will be on speed of play. We will still work on the technical aspects of the game but after our past camps and clinics and watching players in games, it is clear that there are a lot of technically proficient players but the next step is to be able to make quicker decisions and use their technical skill more effectively.

**If you sign up as a goalkeeper, you will take part in technical training from 9-11am and then play in goal for the scrimmages from 11-12pm. Goalkeepers are welcome to stay the full day and will get some work in the field while still playing goalie in games/activities if they want. Please reach out to Ryan@beesteragoalkeeping.com if you have any questions about the goalkeeping portion of camp.**

Players will be grouped by age, ability, and gender (when possible). All players will receive a Beestera camp shirt on the final day.

Ages: 5-15

Times: Half Day: 9 am - 12 pm / Full Day: 9 am - 3 pm

Cost: $75 for Half Day / $120 for Full Day

Sample Schedule (Will be different based on age and ability level)

• 9 am - Morning Challenges / Split into ability apropriate groups
• 9:10 - 9:30 am - Speed, Agility and Quickness with and without the ball
• 9:30 - 10:50 - Speed of Play and Decision Making Session 1
• 10:50 - 11:05 am - Short snack break
• 11:05 - 12 pm - Small Sided Tournament Games
• 12 pm - Lunch / Half day campers are dismissed
• 12:30pm - 1:50pm - Speed of Play and Decision Making Session 2
• 1:50 - 2:05 pm - Short break
• 2:05 - 3 pm - Bigger sided Scrimmages
• 3 pm - Camp debrief/awards/ Dismissal
